Nous avons visité ces salles de jeux dans la péninsule pour les comparer à travers leur architectures, leurs aménagements, atmosphères etc.  Ainsi, basé sur une recherche rigoureuse et une expertise hautement subjective, ce travail explore les différents aspects sociaux de ces fameux casinos Japonais.

Therefore, Pachinko Phenomenology is a tongue-in-cheek analysis of pachinko parlours which the researchers stumbled upon during a two-week period in Japan. Although it pretends to be rigorous and scientic (and it sticks to empirical observations in many areas), some of the questions that the researchers devised are decidedly trivial or nonsensical, or else impossible to answer otherwise than fancifully within the limited «commando-style» timeframe dedicated to each investigation (about 15 minutes per parlour, using hidden image and sound recording equipment).
